IT Specialist

Job Summary This role is responsible for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, system administration, and assisting with project-based initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities Administer and support core IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud platforms. Monitor system performance, availability, and security across infrastructure environments. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (e.g., Active Directory, IAM). Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage systems. Maintain and support backup and disaster recovery solutions. Assist in network configuration, including VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall policies. Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoints (workstations, laptops, mobile devices). Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers as needed. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
