Regional Sales Manager - Midwest

Our client, a leading provider of digital signage, display control software and services is seeking an experienced sales professional to hunt for new and expanded business, work with channel and technology partners and expand existing accounts.


This is a WFH situation. Candidates should reside in the US sales territory


Sales Region: Midwest - Central Region (OH, IL, PA, KY, WI, MN, MI)


Responsibilities:


Achieve Sales Quota


Build market awareness of company and products.


Develop strategic pipelines to increase sales and market share


Develop new businesses through building partner relationships, networking and lead generation


Work with marketing and sales operations to optimize ROI on CRM and lad generation campaigns.


Work with channel partners to enable their sales, marketing and sales engineering teams to identify and close sales opportunities.


Train, motivate and assist channel partners: provide pricing, quote, RFP response and proposal/demo help.


Develop and exhibit sales presentations to educate, promote, and close sales


Establish and execute strategies to promote products' market niche


Travel as necessary within region and nationally

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:


Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

The qualified candidate should have experience in long sales cycles and software sales. Experience in these areas a plus: AV / IT hardware, software and managed services, SaaS, digital signage, and related technologies.


Target verticals: Enterprise, Control Rooms, Physical Security, Construction/ Real Estate, Telecoms, Utilities, Civilian government, Education.

5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling related technologies


Proven track record of enterprise sales success as well as technological knowledge


Experience with developing effective channels, negotiation, sales strategy, and closing


Excellent oral, written and presentation communication to all user levels


Must have strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM skills.


Formal sales training and several years' experience selling with a structured sales methodology preferred, such as: Miller-Heiman, TAS, MEDDIC, Sandler Solutions Selling, SPIN Selling, Dale Carnegie, or similar


Ability to function in a technical environment with a dynamic customer base
