Shipping and Receiving CoordinatorThis position serves as a frontline point of contact, managing inbound inquiries, processing customer orders, and supporting day-to-day service and inside sales activities while coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a busy warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries and provide prompt, professional customer service.Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all order details are correctly entered and maintained.Coordinate daily with manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery of products.Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to internal teams and customers as needed.Handle issues related to order discrepancies, including incorrect quantities, product variances, or documentation errors.Resolve shipping delays by investigating root causes, coordinating with logistics partners, and implementing corrective actions.Manage product returns by coordinating with warehouse and relevant departments to process, document, and track returned goods.Support inventory control activities by helping track stock levels and identifying potential shortages or overages.Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring proper documentation.Collaborate with warehouse operations to maintain efficient order flow and accurate inventory records.Utilize Microsoft Suite and internal systems to manage orders, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize shipping schedules and minimize delivery issues.Essential SkillsProven experience in shipping and receiving or similar warehouse operations role.Hands-on experience with inventory control and order management processes.Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage inbound inquiries professionally and efficiently.Knowledge of logistics processes related to shipping, receiving, and product delivery.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, to manage orders and communication.Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong people skills.Ability to coordinate across manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping departments to resolve issues and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and accuracy when processing customer orders and handling documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.Background as a shipping and receiving clerk or similar role supporting logistics operations.Comfort working with inventory and order management systems.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization.Strong problem-solving skills to address order discrepancies, shipping delays, and product returns.Why Work Here?You will join a stable, industry-leading manufacturer that focuses on high-quality roll suspension and protection solutions. The work takes place in a manufacturing and warehouse setting that produces roll suspension and protection solutions such as core plugs, endboards, sleeve plugs, tube closures, and spool components. The contractor will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and will be exposed to dust. The environment is loud enough that hearing protection is necessary and provided. You will work both individually and as part of a team, interacting regularly with manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping personnel in a physically active, industrial setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $62000.00/yr.Company Benefits Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
