Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager

Partner with the Controller to support accounting operations and departmental priorities as the Accounting Manager
Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements for accuracy and compliance as an Accounting Manager
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across accounting functions as the Accounting Manager
Coordinate internal and external audit activities and ensure audit readiness in the Accounting Manager role
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen controls as an Accounting Manager
Provide leadership and oversight for the Internal Auditor while collaborating across finance teams as the Accounting Manager
Analyze accounting processes and recommend operational enhancements as the Accounting Manager
Support strategic projects and special initiatives that align with Accounting Manager objectives and organizational goals

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred) for the Accounting Manager
Active CPA license or on CPA track preferred for the Accounting Manager
5-7 years of accounting experience, including public accounting audit experience required for the Accounting Manager
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls essential for the Accounting Manager
Advanced financial analysis and accounting systems experience needed for the Accounting Manager
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office expected of the Accounting Manager
Strong communication and leadership skills preferred for the Accounting Manager
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment as an Accounting Manager
