Data Architect / Data Modeller (Onshore)Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for the Data Mesh platform on Snowflake — including data modeling, security design, RBAC/RLS, anonymization, and governance alignment. Key Responsibilities:Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for 9 source systems and 2 MVP data productsDefine Snowflake account architecture (RAW/CURATED/GOLD layers, warehouse sizing, retention policies)Design RBAC hierarchy, Row-Level Security, and column masking policies (SHA-256 hashing for PHI/PII)Own naming standards, service user key-pair authentication, network policies, and MFA enforcementReview pipeline patterns and enforce Data Mesh interoperability policiesSupport ZB InfoSec reviews and HIPAA compliance sign-offsGuide CI/CD promotion path (Dev ? Test ? Prod) via Azure DevOpsMust-Have Skills:12+ years in data architecture, with 3+ years on Snowflake (SnowPro Advanced certification preferred)Deep expertise in dimensional & data vault modelingHands-on with Azure Data Factory, dbt, Azure Key Vault, Pulumi IaCData Mesh principles (Domain Ownership, Data as a Product, Federated Governance)HIPAA / PHI / PII compliance experience (healthcare/life sciences preferred)Good-to-Have: Erwin/ER Studio, TOGAF certification, Horizon Data Catalog, Life Sciences domain
