Operating Room Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Dulles, VA. This role involves working in a dynamic surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic procedures.

Shift Information

Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 6:45 AM 3:15 PM

Unit Information

Unit Name: Operating Room
Number of Beds: 2 Operating Rooms
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Staffing Description: Circulator, scrub, and assistant available
Documentation System: Paper charting
Type of Equipment: OR specific equipment

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in the Operating Room; experience with Ortho Spine required
Advanced Skills: Expertise in orthopedic procedures including Total Joints (Hips, Knees, Shoulders), Sports procedures (Arthroscopy, ACL, PCL), Spine surgeries (ACDF, Lumbar Laminectomy), Podiatry, and Hand surgeries
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
