Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and procedural assistance to taxpayers and representatives.
• Review accounts and apply payments accurately to taxpayer accounts.
• Conduct research to resolve complex payment and return issues.
• Review and close files for cases paid in full, dismissed, or discharged.
• Create billings/liabilities in accordance with court orders.
• Assist with evidence collection for investigations, ensuring judicial requirements are met.
• Complete disclosure requests for confidential taxpayer information.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced call center environment.
• 2 years of customer service-related experience.
• 1 year of experience adhering to ethical and confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferences:

• 1 year of knowledge in tax regulations.
• 1 year of ability to analyze and troubleshoot tax-related inquiries.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
