Job Summary

Precast Specialties is seeking a QC Manager – Batch Plant to oversee quality control operations within its concrete production processes. This role ensures consistency in mix design, supports plant operations, and drives production quality and efficiency.

Reporting Structure

Reports To: QC Manager (Precast)

Works Closely With: Plant Manager

Direct Reports: Production staff and drivers (indirect oversight)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee batch plant quality control operations.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of concrete mix designs.
• Monitor and maintain production quality standards.
• Support plant operations and coordination between QC and production.
• Manage and support production teams and drivers.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

Industry Experience

• Minimum 5 years in the concrete industry (ready-mix or related).
• Strong understanding of batch plant operations and production workflows.

Education & Certifications

• Industry experience required; certifications preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of concrete production and quality systems.
• Ability to manage plant operations and teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
