Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
• Active and valid State Physical Therapist License sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy
• Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatrics is highly desirable, but not mandatory—enthusiasm for working with children and a willingness to collaborate are a must

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to support students’ physical development and access to education
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop tailored treatment plans and adapt activities for student success
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource, sharing expertise to help create a safe and accessible learning environment for students with diverse abilities
