Job Title: Installer Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and installing components for ambulances within an automotive manufacturing environment. You will work on a variety of electronic and electromechanical products, installing circuit modules, relays, harnesses, and other components into assemblies and chassis units while following production standards and safety practices.

• Install components, circuit modules, relays, and wiring harnesses into a variety of assemblies and chassis units for electronic and electromechanical products.
• Use power tools such as drills and other equipment to cut openings in vehicle bodies to accommodate wiring, components, and assemblies.
• Use hand tools, including wire cutters and crimpers, to prepare, route, and secure wiring and harnesses according to specifications.
• Fit and assemble a variety of detailed parts and assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, secure fastening, and compliance with quality standards.
• Read and follow production instructions and, when available, blueprints or diagrams to complete installations accurately.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks related to automotive and ambulance manufacturing, including installing modules and related hardware.
• Support preventive maintenance activities on tools and equipment as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily output goals and maintain a consistent, high-quality assembly process.

• Experience with manufacturing and production assembly.
• Ability to use power tools, including drills, to perform cutting, fitting, and assembly tasks.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wire cutters and crimpers.
• Experience with installation work in a production or automotive environment.
• Mechanical assembly skills for working with detailed parts and assemblies.
• Strong, stable work history demonstrating reliability and consistent tenure.
• Ability to work from instructions and follow established production processes.

• Automotive knowledge or experience, including automotive repair or related work, is preferred.
• Experience with wiring harness installation and routing is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices in a production setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred but not required.
• Production work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are beneficial for communication in a diverse team environment.

The role is based in an automotive manufacturing environment focused on ambulance production. You will work on a production floor using power tools such as drills and various hand tools, including wire cutters and crimpers. The setting is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a focus on safety, quality, and consistent production output. You will work around vehicle bodies, wiring, and mechanical assemblies, collaborating closely with other production personnel throughout the assembly process.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SOUTH EL MONTE, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
