Job Title: Mechanical Valve Assembler

Pay: $25-$35

Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Description

This role focuses on the precise assembly, disassembly, repair, and testing of industrial valves and related automation equipment. You work with mechanical, electrical, and automation components to ensure valves and control systems operate safely, accurately, and reliably in industrial applications. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and test industrial valves and related equipment with a high degree of precision.

• Work with a variety of valve types, actuators, positioners, and mechanical components in an automated machinery environment.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, pneumatic schematics, and bills of materials to perform accurate assembly and repair work.

• Perform hydro testing of valves to verify performance, integrity, and safety according to established procedures.

• Calibrate valve positioners and related control components to meet specified performance requirements.

Essential Skills

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly, preferably involving valves or similar precision mechanical equipment.

• Extensive experience with control valves, including hydro testing of valves and calibration of positioners.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair or assembly steps.

• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and basic test equipment in a production or maintenance environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, pneumatic schematics, and bills of materials.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
