Can you read a print, fit it right, and weld it clean?

If MIG welding mild steel, squaring up assemblies with jigs and fixtures, and checking your work with a keen eye sounds like your kind of shift, you’ll feel at home at Ace Metal Works.

• MIG-weld steel parts precisely to drawings and specifications
• Fit and assemble using fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools
• Perform basic grinding, drilling, and cutting during build-up
• Verify weld quality and final assembly accuracy
• Maintain a tidy, safe work area

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience in a fab shop or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency reading mechanical drawings and using a tape measure accurately
• Familiarity with standard metalworking hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on your feet—bending and stooping—for extended periods
• Team mindset with the independence to own your workstation

• Experience with light to medium gauge steel
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
• Basic mechanical assembly background

• 2nd Shift – Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week (3:15pm – 1:45am, M-TH)
• Consistent weekday schedule
