Weld Inspector

Job Title: Weld Inspector

Location: Chester, PA

Rate: $18-24/hr

Shift: 1st

Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills:

-AWS B5.2 certification required

-Familiar with AS9100 standards
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control)
- Quality control procedures and techniques
- Fabrication skills
- Quality audits
- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
- CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Precision measuring instruments
- Quality inspection techniques
