The team runs all aspects of product strategy, concept development, defining, and implementing these initiatives in collaboration with key team members and partners. They will work with the manager and senior manager to support platform roadmap, integration across products and capabilities, and long-term commercial growth program at scale. They will work closely with operations, design, analytics, development, and executive teams to bring products to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Disney Experiences. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality products and applications that Guests love! About the TeamThe Lodging Sales Distribution team within Disney Experiences Technology & Digital enables business growth through a portfolio of digital products and platforms that support digital commerce guest experience, product distribution, group sales, and partner commerce. The team is responsible for technology solutions and digital marketing capabilities that power guests, travel agents, wholesale distribution, group and event sales, and connectivity with third-party partners across Disney destinations.This is a 12-18-month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.What You'll DoAssist with A/B Testing and full life-cycle development of technology- or data-based products and experiences, from ideation through deliverySupport teams in defining product strategies and roadmaps, translating technical requirements into functional capabilitiesCollaborate with engineering, UX, marketing, and business partners to ensure effective cross-functional alignmentContribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle, including initiation, solution definition, development, launch, and continuous deliverySupport the design, enhancement, and integration of software features or third-party solutionsParticipate in the development of cross-platform applications that connect multiple systems (e.g., SaaS)Conduct preliminary research, assist with hyper-care support, and help measure product KPIsInvestigate bugs and support optimizing frameworks for scalability, performance, and user experienceContribute to the creation of user and buyer personas, value propositions, and analysis of metrics and session behaviorPartner with engineering teams to address challenges related to new technologies, user-centric design, solution testing, and architecture considerationsApply knowledge of innovative digital technologies within the product spaceContinue learning about the digital lodging domain.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trendsRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of related work experienceAnalytical and curious.Can interpret data and user insights to support product decision-makingTroubleshooting skills, ability to determine impacts, ability to resolve complex issues, and ability to exercise good judgment and initiative in stressful situationsComfortable working in an agile environmentTechnical proficiency: Agile/Scrum, UX principles, software lifecyle, product KPIsOpen to learning new technologies as neededFamiliar with product development concepts, agile practices, or software workflowsCapable of defining basic requirements or user stories with guidanceComfortable working with cross-functional partners to move work forwardPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience conducting and analyzing A/B testing.Understanding of data pipeline challenges and solutionsUnderstanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps, and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)Previous experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar toolsRequired EducationBachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience TECHATDISNEYJob Posting StatementThe hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $111,900 to $150,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
