Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.About the roleThe GM role will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership and global growth of this industry leading building automation and controls product business.The role includes end-to-end P&L management including leadership of multiple sales channels and a strong focus on product management. The GM owns the execution of long-term strategy and operational direction for the business across all functions.The GM will focus on creating innovative controls product offerings, driving new business opportunities within new and existing customers and channels, driving customer partnerships and relationships, and drive a robust performance culture. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive strategic business plan to maintain aggressive growth within the building automation and controls industry.Lead business transformation in line with global strategy.Lead global product strategy and program execution, identify gaps and opportunities in any product and offer solutions to drive customer impact and business growth.Lead all go-to market activities including multiple sales channels and three go-to market brands. Build and execute channel growth strategies – globally.Continuing to identify topline and bottom-line opportunities including cost & productivity to drive growth and profitability.Establish operational and financial objectives, manage, and mitigate all risks to the business.Drive people leadership – Attract and develop a strong talent pipeline based on capability for future growth. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree15+ years of experience technical product sales, channel and/or product management5+ years in a P&L leadership role handling a $50M annual sales revenueAbility to travel 20%Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree or MBAPrevious experience leading relevant businesses (Building Automation and Controls Products)Global growth – experience entering new global markets and regionsGrowth mindset and strategic leadership with a record of developing & implementing initiatives & delivering successful growthCustomer focus and ability to develop and maintain strong B2B relationships.Strong understanding of building automation and controls market and digital transformation industry trends with a mix of driving technology and innovation.Unapologetically obsessed with building the best teams – a leader that connects with purpose and brings others along.Adept at managing short term and long-term commercial decisions to drive growth enablers.Excellent professional record & experiences preferably in the multinational environmentAbility to lead, collaborate and work in matrix structuresPay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $174,500.00 - $348,500.00 annually.
