Employment Litigation Attorney - Plaintiff-Side (4-20+ yrs) - Chicago/Remote

About the Position:Our client, a growing plaintiff-side employment law firm, is seeking an employment litigation attorney to join its practice in a primarily remote capacity. The position offers substantial independence, meaningful earning potential, and a family-friendly culture that values work/life balance.Highlights:· Primarily remote position with Chicago office space available as needed· Significant autonomy and opportunity to build a practice without the risk of starting a firm independently· No existing book of business required· Strong financial upside based on revenue generated from matters handled· Family-friendly culture and strong work/life balanceResponsibilities:· Review and evaluate potential employment matters and identify viable cases· Manage employment matters independently from intake through resolution· Draft charges, demand letters, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents· Conduct discovery, depositions, and factual investigations· Develop case strategy and manage litigation matters· Negotiate settlements and resolve matters through appropriate dispute resolution processes· Handle trials when appropriate, with additional team support available for significant matters· Potentially develop business and originate additional plaintiff-side matters over timeRequired Qualifications:· 4-20+ years of labor and employment litigation experience· Plaintiff-side employment experience preferred, though experienced defense-side labor and employment attorneys interested in transitioning to the plaintiff side will be considered· Illinois bar admission required; Missouri admission or willingness to waive into Missouri is a plusLocation:Chicago, IL (Primarily Remote)Compensation:The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 base, plus strong bonus potential.About Us:McCormack Schreiber Legal Search is a leading legal recruiting firm serving clients and candidates in Chicago, California and across the country.
