Step into a dynamic school-based setting in the Jefferson, GA area and make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this contract role, you'll support K-12 students across a diverse caseload—approximately 80 students—delivering essential services and assessments. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families in a hybrid model, providing flexibility while ensuring student needs are met. Enjoy the blend of remote and onsite work, with testing conducted at the school.
Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification valid in Georgia
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to perform assessments and write comprehensive reports
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments onsite
- Work closely with students, families, and staff to facilitate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Coordinate and participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Maintain up-to-date records and detailed documentation
- Provide timely consultation and recommendations to school staff
