Job Description:

Title: Neuro Telemetry RN – Neuroscience

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

- Prior neuro/neurosurgical experience required

- Comfortable with NIH Stroke Scale

- Experience with post-operative neurosurgery and varied neurology diagnoses

- Patient ratio experience: 4-5; unit expectation: 1:4

- Certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS proficiency expected

- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management

- Familiarity with post-op neurosurgical care and craniotomy management

- Knowledge in stroke/CVA care and thrombectomy-capable unit practices

- Competence in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury care

- Skills in airway/BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube familiarity

- Experience in procedural sedation monitoring

- Proficient in charting with Epic

Compliance / Notes:

- Valid state nursing license required; compact license must be in hand at submission

- Facility does not accept NURSYS or BG hits

- Local radius: 50 miles

- Return staff policy: may return after 3 months

- No candidate direct calls to facility unless authorized by recruiter/account manager

Additional: Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination/forfeiture of hours
