Certified Respiratory Therapist (New Grads Welcome)

Position Overview Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Night Shift – Full Time, 3×12 hour shifts. This role is within the Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy department and is located in the Chicago Metro Area, Illinois. Compensation and Benefits Base pay ranges from $33.50 to $45.09 per hour, with potential shift differentials and a sign‑on bonus of $15,000 for qualified candidates. Gross weekly earnings are estimated at $1,206 to $1,623 (3×12 shifts). Responsibilities Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy as ordered by physicians. Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management. Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Act as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner during the absence of a supervising professional, overseeing operations during shifts. Respond to critical care situations and emergencies. Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required. Associate degree or Bachelor of Science preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with pediatric and adult respiratory therapy is preferred.
