Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN ) - Chemical Dependency Unit

- Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or obtained within 3 months of employment.
- In accordance with Minnesota Rules Subpart 1-B; all employees must be free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems are defined as: Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements. Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member's job performance; Chemical use that affects the credibility of treatment services with clients, referral sources, or other members of the community; and Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.
