Position: Medical Assistants
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Guaranteed hours:

DRESS CODE: Scrubs, preferably Navy Blue

COMPUTER SOFTWARE: Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft Office

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have Medical Assistant Certification

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting
*Knowledge of basic medical terminology
*Phlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
*Ability to administer and read accurate blood pressure testing
*Interviewing patients and obtain a complete medical history
*Ability to keep accurate records
*Distribute prescribed medications
*Effective communication skills
