Assembly Process Engineer

Title: Assembly Process Engineer
Location: Sallisaw, OK (74955)
Pay: $80,000 - $95,000

We are a growing manufacturing organization specializing in precision-engineered products and advanced production technologies. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in optimizing CNC machining processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting high-quality manufacturing operations in a collaborative plant environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop, optimize, and improve assembly processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Support assembly operations including washing, pressing, leak testing, and other production processes.
• Select and implement tooling, equipment, and automation solutions for assembly lines.
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and quality issues while supporting root cause analysis activities.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, setup sheets, PFMEA documentation, and process standards.
• Analyze production data, cycle times, downtime, and process performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

What You Need For This Job

• 3+ years of manufacturing, assembly, process engineering, or industrial engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, machine operations, manufacturing systems, and production environments.
• Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• Experience creating work instructions, process documentation, setup sheets, and standardized work procedures.
• Basic CAD experience for drawing modifications and manufacturing support.
