About the Position

06016C – Join a dedicated care team in Northwest Alaska, where your clinical expertise in pediatric primary will serve a community in need. This is a permanent position with 50% clinical responsibilities and 50% and either full-time or part-time schedule options. In this position, you'll work with a collaborative team of providers and provide full-spectrum pediatric care to a community in need. This is a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role!

 Job Specialty: Pediatrics

Schedule: Hybrid Clinical & Administrative Role

• Standard clinic hours (Monday – Friday)
• Full-Time or Part-Time schedule based in Northwest, AK
• This is a Perm position, not Locum/rotational
• Approximately 50% clinical and 50% administrative responsibilities

Compensation:

• Competitive salary (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient pediatric care, including:
  • Well-child visits
  • Acute care visits for common illnesses
• Collaborate with a team of pediatric providers
• Review and communicate lab results with patients and families
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
• Assist with administrative and care coordination duties

Requirements:

• Active Alaska Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (or willingness to obtain)
• Active BLS, ACLS
• Pediatric or Family medicine experience highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
