Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Registered Nurse RN Med Surg Float Pool 36 & 24 Hour Nights Boston Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for 36‑hour and 24‑hour night float pool positions. The RN will plan, organize, direct, deliver and coordinate patient care to attain and maintain maximum function, using the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures. The RN will coordinate care among patients/families, medicine, nursing, ancillary, and other team personnel; act as patient advocate; and maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice. The RN may function as a first‑line manager in patient care service during an assigned shift. Qualifications 2 years of Med Surg experience required. Will float to Med/Surg and Telemetry departments. Current license as a Registered Nurse that allows practice in the state of MA. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
