About Our Client

Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in multi-family and commercial construction throughout the Chicagoland area. Known for delivering complex, high-visibility projects, they maintain long-standing relationships with their clients and do about 75% repeat business. They are also rapidly expanding, and are looking for a Project Manager to assist with supporting a strong project pipeline.

Job Description

Glimpse of your role:

• Manage full project lifecycle for multi-family and commercial construction projects
• Lead project teams including APMs, Superintendents, and subcontractors
• Serve as primary point of contact with owner's, architects, and stakeholders
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and change management
• Ensure strict compliance with public procurement, safety, and documentation standards
• Review contracts, subcontracts, drawings, and specification

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
• Strong project experience on multi-family, commercial, healthcare, k-12.
• Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
