HVAC Apprentice

Entry Level HVAC Techs wanted! Work outdoors with a team of experienced Technicians and build yourself within the HVAC Industry!
We are seeking a skilled technician responsible for delivering, installing, and repairing HVAC units for our Homebuilder Division. This role involves professional communication with customers, managers, and sales engineers to efficiently schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. The technician will install flexible gas hoses for both propane and natural gas applications and ensure safe procedures for checking gas connections. Seasonal duties include servicing and rebuilding used HVAC units during the summer months and installing HVAC units during the winter months.
Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, and repair HVAC units for the Homebuilder Division.
• Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
• Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural gas applications.
• Implement proper and safe procedures to check gas connections.
• Service and rebuild used HVAC units during summer months.
• Install HVAC units during winter months.
• Collaborate with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records and tracking of equipment.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical inclination.
• HVAC service and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical repair and installation expertise.
• Electrical maintenance technician skills.
• EPA certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in HVAC or mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic electrical experience preferred; training available.
• Ability to lift 88 lbs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
