Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy plans aimed at helping them achieve their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Deploy evidence-informed strategies to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide thorough, holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to promote sustained progress at home.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain on track.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications Needed

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
