CNA - Inpatient Center, Part Time

Location: Inpatient Center Position Type: Part Time, 0.45 FTE, Hours/Week Schedule Requirements: Every Wednesday night shift 7p-7a and every other Monday day shift 7a-7p.

Purpose of the Position Rainbow Community Care is currently accepting applications for a dedicated part-time CNA to work at the inpatient center in Johnson Creek. This person will work every Wednesday Night Shift (7pm – 7am) and every other Monday Day Shift (7am – 7pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with ambulation, transferring, and changing position of patients.
• Assists the patient with personal grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, skin care, nail care, dressing, transferring and walking.
• Assists with preparing meals and assists patients with eating and drinking.
• Gives emotional and psychological support to the patient/family.
• Maintains a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Performs light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Reads, understands, and follows the plan of care.
• Maintains up-to date patient records and documents cares provided to the patient.
• Reports changes in patient condition according to Rainbow policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and proof of current car insurance are required upon hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must be able to drive to and from other office/meeting locations as necessary.
• Current Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience preferred.
• Hospice experience preferred.

• Must be able to maintain healthy boundaries and positive interpersonal relationships.
• Must be tactful and courteous in communication with others, whether in-person, by phone, or in writing.
• Must act with integrity and demonstrate good work ethics including reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to be self-directed and handle stressful and emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain patient, family, and staff confidentiality.
