Lead Infant Teacher

Description Clemson Creative Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking full-time Lead Teacher for our Infant classroom! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks, and candidates must be 18 years of age. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Our Hiring Process Resumescreen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently. Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
