We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.**Summary of the role**As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.**Job Summary**Perform engineering work requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Assist with validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment + Measure parts, perform functional testing, perform data analysis, and write qualification report* 5S Production Floor + Tape out area using 5S principles for proper flow and safety in production. + Set up new conveyor systems for use in production. + Determine ways to reduce conversion costs + Organize WIP and Finished Goods areas* Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.* Identify and propose solutions for process improvements in assembly or quality lab operations to increase quality and/or throughput.* Aid in root cause analysis of CAPAs utilizing tools like pareto charts and fishbone diagrams* Prepare and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience Requirements** Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field**Skills and Abilities**• Proficient in 3D CAD Design software (SolidWorks preferred)• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)• Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility• Excellent verbal and written communication• Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask**Working Conditions and Physical Demands**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
