Learn more at Our OB/GYN practice is hiring a Patient Service Representative (PSR) . Location: Bridgewater and Hillsborough, NJ Hours: 9-5 PM and 1 alternating night 12-7:30 PM on a Monday or Wednesday Responsibilities Greeting patients and visitors, assisting, and directing them to the appropriate waiting area. Paging or phoning appropriate personnel to meet and escort patients to the exam room. Explaining financial requirements to patients, collecting, and recording co-payments as required. Performing registration functions for new and existing patients and activating patient files. Promptly and professionally answering and routing calls to appropriate personnel, paging, offering voicemail, or redirecting calls as needed. Retrieving and appropriately routing any messages from the answering service. Providing additional support to patients and medical staff and performing other duties as assigned. Courteously screening solicitors for relevance to organizational needs. Adhering to infection control and safety guidelines as well as maintaining confidentiality regarding all patients and following confidentiality policies per HIPAA compliance. Pay or shift range $18 USD to $21 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
