Home Health Aide

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Position Status: Part Time, Day Shift, 24 scheduled weekly hours, schedule is flexible

Position Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Pay Range: $15.75- $20.45

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Education:

• No specific education requirements

Certification/Licensure:

• CNA OR nurse aide/nurse assistant certificate (one of these is required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience:

• Basic and routine patient care
• Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
• Intake/output
• Ambulation
• Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home
