Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Behavioral Health RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting specializing in psychiatric services. This role involves monitoring, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety within a multi-unit behavioral health environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' mental and physical health status regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform de-escalation procedures and crisis intervention to manage patient behavior.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the MEDITECH electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards, including milieu management and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of behavioral health experience.
• Proficient in using electronic health records, specifically MEDITECH.
• Certified in CPI and BLS.
• Demonstrate strong verbal de-escalation and crisis management skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Knowledge of quick-release synthetic restraints and milieu management.
