Our commitment to empowering people and powering projects is realized by our exceptional team of dedicated and highly skilled experts working together and never settling for good enough.What You Will Be DoingLeading the preconstruction process for electrical construction projects from concept through final proposalDeveloping accurate and strategic budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed cost modelsReviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, narratives, and design documentsIdentifying constructability issues, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternativesCollaborating with clients, engineers, architects, and internal teams to define project scope and design directionManaging preconstruction schedules, deliverables, and milestonesGuiding the estimating team and supporting the development of junior preconstruction staffOverseeing the development and maintenance of estimating tools, databases, and historical cost informationPreparing bid packages, proposals, and presentations for clientsLeading design-build and design-assist efforts, including scope alignment and early procurement strategiesReviewing estimates prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goalsSupporting project handoff to operations by clearly communicating scope, assumptions, risks, and project conditionsWorking on change-order pricing, cost updates, and pre-award clarifications as neededBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractorsWhat You Need for This Position3+ years of electrical estimating or preconstruction experienceStrong understanding of preconstruction workflows, estimating software, and cost modelingAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documentsStrong team mentality and leadership skillsExperience with MS Office Suite; Accubid, LiveCount, McCormick, or ConEst Project list or bid list preferredWhat's In It for You150-200k base salary depending on experience401kHealthDentalVisionLife insuranceBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
