Japanese Voice Actor for AI Annotation

Role Overview: Bring characters and scripted content to life in Japanese by delivering clear, emotionally accurate voice performances for a variety of applications, from narration to character work. This contract role requires professional vocal technique, the ability to take direction and revise performances, and consistent delivery of high-quality audio files.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record voice-overs either from a professional home studio or during in-studio sessions.
• Perform lines with clarity, appropriate pacing, and the correct emotional tone and personality.
• Interpret scripts and apply creative direction from producers and directors.
• Revise recordings based on feedback to meet project requirements.
• Deliver final audio files on time, in the required format and technical quality.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Previous voice acting experience in Japanese.
• Strong vocal control and vocal versatility, with clear speech and a wide emotional range.
• Access to high-quality recording equipment for remote work, or availability to record in a professional studio.
• Proven ability to follow direction and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dubbing, ADR, or localization projects.
• A demo reel that demonstrates a variety of voice styles and tones.
• Background in acting or performing arts.
• Familiarity with basic audio editing tools and workflows.
