The Active Treatment Technician will work under the general supervision of a registered nurse while assisting consumers according to treatment plans. CSU is a 24 hour facility. Requirements: High School Diplomarequired Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required Demonstrates good interpersonal skills necessary to deal tactfully and effectively with people in crisis situations Demonstrates ability to accept direction and responsibility for the care of consumers under treatment for psychiatric disorders Responsibilities: Accepts emergency/crisis calls. Responds to front-line first responder needs via telephone. Triages calls according to intensity, service needs, critical timing, and assignment of staff. Assists residents in all areas of physical care and hygiene of patients. Documents client behaviors observed during shift and charts into Electronic Medical Records.
