Dimensional Metrology and Compliance Technician

We’re searching for a detail-obsessed Quality Control Technician to uphold exacting standards as our company scales.What you’ll doBlueprint-to-part verification: Inspect complex components to confirm 100% compliance with dimensions and tolerances.In-process control: Patrol production runs, identify deviations early, and reduce waste while maintaining peak quality.Documentation: Complete inspection records, First Article Inspections (FAI), and non-conformance reports (NCR) as needed.Traceability stewardship: Manage raw material inventory and track certifications (MTRs) to ensure full traceability.Protection in transit: Pack, wrap, and secure finished parts so they arrive safely and undamaged.Receiving & handling: Operate a forklift to load/unload heavy shipments and inspect inbound materials for specification accuracy.What you bring3+ years in quality control within precision manufacturing or a machine shop (laser cutting experience strongly preferred).Technical Skills:Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ITAR requirements.Comfort with physical demands: lifting heavy items; standing/walking for extended periods.Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).How you workExcel in a fast-paced setting while preserving meticulous attention to detail.Collaborate fluidly with production managers, machinists, and shipping teams; communicate clearly.Analyze trends and propose process improvements to drive continuous quality gains.Compensation & growthCompetitive hourly compensation ($30.00 – $40.00/hr)Clear opportunities to advance within a cutting-edge manufacturing organization.Apply nowEmail your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io or submit your application through this platform.Apex Laser Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
