Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice & Home Health

Location: Billings, MT

As we grow our new hospice program in Billings, we're looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse who enjoys caring for patients across the continuum—from helping patients recover at home to providing comfort-focused end-of-life care.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to both Home Health and Hospice patients in the Billings area. This shared position offers the opportunity to support patients with skilled nursing needs while helping grow an exceptional hospice program focused on compassionate, patient-centered care.

As our hospice census grows, this role has the opportunity to transition into a more dedicated hospice position.

• Provide skilled nursing care to home health and hospice patients in their homes and residential facilities.

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, chaplains, and hospice aides to provide coordinated, high-quality care.

• Administer medications, treatments, wound care, and other skilled nursing interventions.

• Provide symptom management and comfort-focused care for hospice patients.

• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, safety, and end-of-life care.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and communicate appropriately with the interdisciplinary team.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and on-call rotation as assigned.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana (or eligible for Montana licensure).

• Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred but not required.

• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance (mileage reimbursed).

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
