Quick Lube Service Advisor

Job Title: Quick Lube Service Advisor Sun Auto Tire & Service seeks a friendly and enthusiastic individual to assist customers with vehicle maintenance needs. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills but no prior automotive supervisory or mechanical experience. Salary Starting at: $30,000/year to $40,000/year + bonus. Service Recommendations: present oil‑change options and additional services based on manufacturer recommendations and DVI documentation. Referral Conversion: connect referrals for conversion to full‑service repairs in sister stores. Customer Communication: keep customers informed about service status and additional maintenance needs. Billing and Payment: prepare and present invoices, process payments, handle billing inquiries or disputes. Record Keeping: maintain accurate records of customer interactions and services performed. Coordination with Technicians: relay customer requests and ensure timely service delivery. Promotions and Offers: inform customers about current promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs. Cleanliness and Organization: keep the waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Problem‑solving: address and resolve customer or team member issues promptly. Safety and Cleanliness: maintain a safe, clean environment and follow all safety regulations. Adhere to company policies and demonstrate consistency with company standards and expectations. Qualifications Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process‑driven environment. Valid driver’s license. Minimum age 18 years. Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service. Organizational skills to manage appointments and records efficiently. Problem‑solving ability to address customer issues effectively. Sales skills to recommend additional services and promotions. Basic computer skills for scheduling, billing, and record‑keeping. Team collaboration with lube technicians and other team members. Working Conditions Work primarily in a service garage setting with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and vehicle exhaust. Schedule Full‑time position with potential for weekend and evening shifts.
