Come join our TEAM and help us in our mission to be ANGELS of hope in the community!ResponsibilitiesProvide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises.Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPCA (personal care aide), Nurse Aide Course Completion Certificate, or CNA (certified nursing assistant) licensePrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) preferredEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodationsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single dayAuto InsuranceValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsWillingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateTake pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)Caregiver BenefitsReferral Bonus ProgramZayZoon: Payday advanceTela-doc servicesFREE Continuing Education UnitsVisiting Angels requires ALL caregivers to pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.We look forward to hearing from you!Nationally known.
