Job Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Technician II to support medical device R&D, product development, testing, and post-launch improvements.
This role will work in a laboratory environment performing hands-on testing, prototype and fixture builds, troubleshooting, data analysis, and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Support mechanical engineering and laboratory testing activities.
Build prototypes, test fixtures, and support validation methods.
Conduct tests, inspect products, and analyze test data.
Maintain lab equipment, samples, inventory, and documentation.
Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues.
Support Lean/6S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and equipment suppliers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.
3–5 years of related engineering technician experience, or equivalent education/experience.
Basic SolidWorks, technical drawing/drafting, and Minitab skills.
Knowledge of mechanical principles and medical device manufacturing/testing.
Familiarity with GMP, FDA, ISO 9001, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. and work in a cleanroom environment.
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
Training: First month on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
