Alden Tool Company – Berlin, CT

Alden Tool Company is a family-owned precision manufacturer located in Berlin, Connecticut . We produce surgical cutting tools for the medical device industry and are currently seeking a CNC Cutter Grinder to join our growing team.

This position involves working with Rollomatic CNC grinding machines to manufacture drills, taps, reamers, and other rotary cutting instruments used in surgical procedures.

We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC cutter grinding machines (Rollomatic)
Monitor production and make program or offset adjustments as needed
Inspect tools using precision measuring equipment
Maintain quality and documentation requirements
Work with engineering and production teams to support tool development

Qualifications

CNC machining or grinding experience preferred but not required
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read technical drawings
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn a specialized trade
