Army Soldier Aviation Operations Specialist (Entry Level)

An Aviation Operations Specialist in the United States Army plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of aviation missions. Their duties include coordinating and managing air traffic control operations, flight plans, and schedules for military aircraft. They are responsible for maintaining detailed records of flight activities, mission reports, and aircraft status, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. These specialists communicate with pilots and aircrew to provide essential information about weather conditions, flight routes, and airfield operations. Additionally, they assist in the planning and executing of air support missions, both in combat and non-combat situations, ensuring all logistical and operational requirements are met. Veterans Administration Home Loan Program helps Soldiers to become homeowners and, in many cases, first-time homeowners. This unique benefit enables Soldiers to purchase a home with competitive interest rates (often lower than the average national) without requiring a down payment or private mortgage insurance (PMI). The average national down payment on the purchase of a home is currently $18,000.
