CAD/ REVIT Designer

Job Description E4P Consulting Engineering is seeking a senior level CAD/REVIT Technician to provide drafting support during design projects. This role requires the ability to convert conceptual ideas and sketches into workable 3D drawings in a design environment. Must collaborate with other Design members for best possible solution, as well as be capable of working independently. Must also be capable of learning progressive electrical, mechanical and plumbing design principles and new software, as well as industrial and internal standards. This position will be located in our Manhattan, NY office. Primary Responsibilities Utilize company standards & develop standards for all design work Assist in the design activities required for project delivery excellence – drafts, drawings and edits of mechanical, electrical and plumbing sheets Complete all redlines in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met Work cooperatively with all staff and helping with field survey work as needed Assist in developing and maintaining company drafting standards May perform other duties as assigned to assist in achieving department and company goals Qualifications 2-5 years of experience inRevit AdvanceRevitskills required Proficient in Microsoft office suite. Experience in producing MEP and fire protection drawings. Set up Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, and Plumbingbackgrounds from Architect’s plans Ability to accurately transfer red-line mark ups to Revitas well as schedules using Excel Expert knowledge of Revitand AutoCAD Ability to plot and organize drawing sets Good communication skills Ability to manage work on multiple projects simultaneously Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities High school diploma or equivalent Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit Ability to navigate and complete redlines in Revit High attention to detail Desired Skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and self-prioritize tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Manages multiple projects and works under pressure to meet deadlines Presents professional and personable image with a positive attitude and demeanor #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City
