Part time Family Nurse Practitioner

About the Role Join our dedicated team at JENNIFER GWOZDZ MD PA as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Katy, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. This is a part time evening position in a Walk in Family practice in Katy - 4 to 6 hours weekly, 5pm to 7pm, 1-2 evenings a week and 1 Saturday morning a month 9am to 12 noon. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop patient care plans. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages. Perform routine physical exams and preventive health screenings. Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans effectively. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with physician. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems. We use Athena. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care reviews. Requirements Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas. Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
