About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years in high acuity hospital preferred, strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required. License: RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS and PALS required. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and CV experience required. Telemetry test to be passed prior to clearance to start. Description: This position involves providing care for critically ill or injured children and their families in a pediatric ICU. The RN will deliver comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical problems. A strong background in cardiac and respiratory cases is essential. The RN will be responsible for managing complex medical conditions and treatments including ECMO, CRRT, and post-operative care. Supportive interdisciplinary teams will be available to provide comprehensive care. Travelers may be required to float as needed within the unit. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in critical care skills and telemetry monitoring.
