Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician – Hood River, OR

Quick Facts:

• Location: Hood River, OR
• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• Duration: Ongoing with potential for full-time or flexible weeks
• Shift: • Clinic: 8am-5pm, 4 days/week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri)
  • Call: 24-hour and weeknight beeper calls, with intermittent scheduling (8 shifts/month)
• Hours/Week: 40+ (including call)
• Employment Type: Locum/Temporary with potential for extension/permanent placement
• Licenses/Certs: Active Oregon medical license, DEA, BC/BE in OB-GYN, BLS & NRP required
• Experience: Preferably existing privileges in OB and GYN, with recent case logs (last 24 months)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient OB-GYN care, including deliveries, emergency cases, and minor surgeries
• Assist with in-office procedures and GYN-related treatments
• Manage emergency ectopic cases and provide in-depth patient consultations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting patient health and safety
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing emergency coverage as needed
• Document all clinical encounters accurately and timely in compliance with facility protocols

What You Need:

• Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration
• Board certified or eligible in OB-GYN (within 3-5 years)
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to provide sufficient recent case logs for privileges approval
• Flexibility to work scheduled clinic hours and call shifts

Preferred:

• Prior experience covering both OB and GYN procedures
• Availability for virtual interviews within the next two weeks
