Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a day shift schedule (9A start)
• Manage a general Medical/Surgical patient population, including overflow oncology cases
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Current BLS/certification card required
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• No time-off requests (RTO) during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oncology overflow patient populations
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced acute care environments
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
