Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care setting during night shift hours
Monitor and assess patients requiring close observation and intervention between ICU and general medical-surgical levels of care
Perform and interpret cardiac rhythm identification as part of unit competency requirements — a proctored rhythm identification test (non-multiple choice) is required upon start, with two attempts allowed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 18 months of Step Down / IMC / PCU experience within the past 3 years
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local travelers are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation in an intermediate or progressive care setting
Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations transitioning from intensive care environments
