Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / IMC / PCU setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and medical oversight
• Perform and interpret cardiac rhythm identification as part of unit competency requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit dress code and facility policies throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of Step Down / IMC / PCU experience within the past 3 years
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong cardiac rhythm recognition skills — candidates will be required to pass a proctored (non-multiple choice) rhythm identification test upon start
• Experience working in a high-acuity intermediate care or progressive care environment
• Familiarity with stroke assessment protocols and NIHSS administration
